From Austins to Astons…

Welcome to the Motor Garage – a friendly village garage which has been around for nearly 100 years!

We specialise in the restoration, servicing, maintenance and repair of Classic Cars, although we do work on modern cars too! We also have a modern, secure and discreetly located Storage facility around the corner, just 5 minutes from the A303.

In addition, we are a registered MOT test station. We have a comfortable and family friendly reception and MOT viewing area, with sofa, tea and coffee, magazines, toys and puzzles for the children and nice toilet facilities! If your car is over 40 years old, you don’t actually need an MOT test, but we would recommend one anyway for your own safety.

Whilst we are known across the region for Classic Cars, we also have state of the art diagnostic equipment, computerised tyre balancing equipment and laser tracking and alignment. Many Classic Car customers from further afield also entrust us to look after their modern vehicles.

We are based in Wiltshire in easy reach of Marlborough, Salisbury, Hungerford and Winchester. We can collect and pick up in the local area, with a covered trailer if necessary and have four courtesy cars available by prior appointment.

The Motor Garage

We have had the pleasure of working on this absolutely beautiful 1926 Morris Oxford! This car was originally owned by The Beatles first manager Allan Williams!

We were tasked to remove the engine and take it to Formhalls Vintage and Racing so they could carry out a full engine overhaul. While the engine was with them we took care of the storage and carried out other various work on it, once the engine was finished we the reinstalled it, carried out 150 miles of driving to run the engine in and then delivered back to its owner in Kent.
